Environmental Challenges: Strategic Conversations

Alicia Hidalgo, General Manager of Balloon Latam, highlighted the relevance of initiatives like these: "It is important that the affected people themselves identify what they need and what must be resolved, in order to have true solutions."

The event included two significant conversation panels that addressed crucial topics for the region. The first, titled “Regenerative Interrelationships, Links for the Future,” brought together prominent local leaders to discuss strategies and perspectives on promoting regenerative practices. The second panel, titled “Local Solutions to Global Problems: Community Regeneration,” focused on exploring how local communities can contribute to global regeneration. These conversations provided valuable insights and inspiring perspectives on how to address environmental challenges locally and globally.

Juan Ignacio Cordero, Head of Advocacy at Balloon Latam, summarized the value of the conversations: «The value that I perceive in today's conversations lies mainly in the fact that it is the communities themselves that determine their own organic process of understanding, addressing the problems of the reality that arise and achieving lasting results over time thanks to collaborative work."

The 2024 Maule Regenerative Festival was not only a day of celebration, but also a testament to the community's ongoing commitment to regeneration and sustainable action. The success of the event reinforces the importance of collaboration and community empowerment in the search for lasting environmental solutions.
